Our main buildings include our newly refinished dining hall, air-conditioned recreational hall, our medical facility, and a newly built outdoor pavilion. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Summit Camp is a co-ed sleepaway camp for ages 8-19 years with issues of attention: AD/HD, HFA/Asperger’s Disorder, and/or learning differences. Using the frame of a traditional sleepaway camp, we create platforms of success where our campers can experience outcomes such as improved self-esteem, lasting friendships, and increased independence. This is accomplished through a well-orchestrated and expertly staffed backdrop to a largely traditional camp experience- guided challenges, waterfront, adventure course, and more. It is our goal and desire to take our campers from observing peer interactions to engaging in them, to learn and celebrate their own strengths and successes, and to feel a sense of belonging and shared community with those around them while they are with us.

Our Teen Travel program extends the Summit community to provide a safe yet exciting adventure to one of our many attractive national and international destination tours offering 14 day and 19 day excursions. Summit Weekenders provide a youth-group style social retreat for adolescents to have an oasis of independence, enjoyment, and success during the school year months. Regardless of the specific program, Summit provides an expertly staffed, highly structured, and truly fun experience for our youth, and has been doing so since 1969. At Skyhawks we go the extra mile to focus on safety, and we have a long-standing proven safety track record and processes to prove it. CAMP FACILITIES: We have a 61,000 sq.ft. fully air-conditioned recreation facility with a 24,000 sq. ft. main arena and a 12,000 sq.ft. auxiliary gymnasium. The Main Arena has seating for all campers, counselors and parents. We have an on-site indoor Olympic Pool, classrooms, computer lab, arts and crafts section, Drama & Cheer areas, sports courts, Atrium Game area, movie room and private dining room, and camp office.

We have 60 acres of outdoor fields, all weather track, three NCAA fields (soccer, baseball and softball), special field for early childhood campers, and outdoor courts.

We have free door to transportation for all five day programs and free extended hours. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Located along a secluded nine-mile lake in the Adirondacks of New York State is a private/ independent seven-week residential camp for 130 children from across the United States and around the world. Camp Northwood is oriented toward children with low self-esteem, immature social skill development, high functioning autism, Asperger's Syndrome and learning challenges in need of a structured and supportive, socially therapeutic summer experience. As our 5 year old campers transition from Stepping Stones to Main Camp, they will begin to utilize our traditional-sized facilities while participating in enhanced tennis instruction and other athletic activities, American Red Cross swim instruction/recreational swim, nature, music, creative & performing arts and many other exciting activities! Our 5 year old program also features a 'Mini Club' period which allows each group to select from a list of their favorite activities to participate in each day.

Our 5 year olds also participate in our unique, values-based, STARFISH program. The STARFISH program not only supports our camp's mission of teaching children the skills of making and keeping friends while building self-esteem; it creates a safe environment that makes accomplishing that mission possible. 6 & 7 Year Olds

8 Year Olds
In addition to participating in our great range of traditional activities, our 8 year old campers get the chance to experience the excitement and spirit of teamwork associated with our 'Sports Leagues'. Sports Leagues begin on an every other day basis, alternating with a SECOND 'Club Elective' period. League Teams are divided equally, with the emphasis being put upon good sportsmanship and building self-esteem. Campers may also participate in one of our 'Showtime' musical theatre productions, cook, swim, dance, explore nature, and take advantage everything that our camp program has to offer!

9 & 10 Year Olds / 11 & 12 Year Olds
We recognize that our older campers are looking for a more innovative and customizable summer experience so we give it to them! Our 'Club + Sports Leagues' program allows these senior groups to tailor their summer experience for up to two hours each day. Additionally, these older groups have "flex" periods in their schedule throughout the week which allow their group to once again choose between a list of available activities to participate in. CAMP FACILITIES: Children live in wood-framed and screened cabins by age group, yet choose activities and wilderness trips individually. We have a wide range of activities in camp, and an extensive wilderness program - hiking, canoeing, kayaking, sailing throughout the Adirondack region.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The North Country Camps - Camp Lincoln for Boys and Camp Whippoorwill for Girls - are adventurous and fun full-season resident camps located in the Adirondack region of NY State. We offer a program that emphasizes individual choice, and we offer a wide range of activities in camp including horseback riding, sailing, canoeing, swimming, windsurfing, kayaking, bicycling, soccer, baseball, softball, ultimate frisbee, volleyball, tennis, archery, art, drama, dance, and woodshop.

We also offer an extensive Wilderness Trip program. The trips -day trips, overnights, and 3, 4, 5 day trips - include hiking, backpacking, canoeing, bicycling, riding, and sailing. Campers live in cabin groups of five or six campers with one counselor. Overall camper:counselor ratio is 3:1. CAMP FACILITIES: Our 13,000 sq. ft sports facility includes a turf field 130ft x 80ft with 10 batting retractable batting cages, an outdoor basketball court area and 2 party rooms where we have snack, eat lunch, and do arts & crafts as well as other fun activities.

Our lead instructors have athletic and summer camp experience and have a passion for working with children. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Bonjour NY is a French immersion summer camp located in the heart of New York City. We offer weekly registration from 1 to 9 weeks. Bonjour NY was elected "best camp attended in NY" by our families, is accredited by the American Camp Association and is a NYC licensed.

It’s true! Many of our campers choose to stay for all seven weeks of the summer. Staying for the whole season really allows campers to hone their skills in their class areas, go on more wilderness trips, and means they won’t miss out on any of the big summer camp events! In addition, 7-weekers get to enjoy special events in between the 4-week and 3-week session break such as Beach Day and a day trip to the Great Escape amusement park. Some campers choose to register for the first 4 weeks, and then decide later to upgrade to the full 7-week session, and that’s just fine by us. If you’re unsure whether your camper would like to be a 4-weeker or a 7-weeker, don’t worry…it only takes a mouse-click for us to change a 4-weeker to a 7-weeker. Feel free to discuss that option with your child if you think they could benefit from a longer session!

4-WEEK SESSION JULY 1, 2018 – JULY 29, 2019 Standard Rate: $6,400
The first half of the summer consists of our 4-week overnight program. The 4-week session allows campers to learn new skills and take part in a variety of classes. The session includes many themed events which lead up to our “Color Wars”, in which campers don their colors of Red, Yellow, Blue, Black, or Green and see which team will come out on top: these games have been a camper favorite for decades!

“ROOKIE CAMP” (2 Weeks, for ages 6-10 only)

For the first two weeks of the 4-Week session, we run a two week “Rookie Camp” for first-time campers between the ages of 6 to 9 years old. We feel this short session is a good bite-sized introduction to summer camp, and also allows campers the flexibility to stay on for the remainder of the 4-week session if they get bitten by the “summer camp bug” and want to stay longer!

3-WEEK SESSION (Overnight) JULY 31, 2018 – AUGUST 18, 2018 Standard Rate: $4,600

The 3-Week session offers two options to campers: a traditional overnight summer camp program, or a day-camp option. The 3-Week session is full of fun classes Mondays – Fridays, with special events planned on the weekends. It’s also the session in which our famous GREEK GAMES take place, as well as some of our campers’ all-time favorite camp events like the “Pok-O-Palooza” music festival, the Jack’s Cup sailing race, Casino Night, and the Pok-O County Fair.

3-WEEK SESSION (Day Camp)* JULY 21, 2018 – AUGUST 18, 2018 Standard Rate: $2,100 for a first-time camper.

Our day campers attend camp from approximately 9am to about 5pm Mondays through Fridays. Just like overnight campers, they get to create their own class schedule from a list of over 30 program offerings. They are, of course, assigned to a cabin and counselor and have their own bunks so they have a comfortable spot to relax during Rest Hour. Day campers also have the option of staying the night for an evening activity or program if they wish, and we can easily make those arrangements, although a small fee may apply. They also have the added bonus of being able to stay overnight the last week of camp for no additional fee!

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Our mission is for each child to discover, celebrate and be who he or she is supposed to be. Consistent, caring relationships and a comprehensive activity program is essential to achieve our mission.

The relationships that children form with each other and with our staff provide the foundation for the Elmwood experience. It is through these relationships and active participation in our program that we learn about ourselves and others.

Our Place has been built with children in mind. Our facility provides program areas designed for our four core activity areas (Athletics, Swim, Creative Arts and Performing Arts) and for natural play.

We are teachers, psychologists, social workers, recreational specialists, college and high school students. Many of us are alumni campers; all of us believe in the Elmwood mission.

Our leadership team has a deep commitment to the Elmwood mission and to the well being of each camper. Together we have over 100 years of camping experience and extensive knowledge of children.

OTHER CAMP INFO: We are committed to our campers' safety and well being on their ride to and from camp. We provide door-to-door transportation from Westchester County, the Upper East Side and the Upper West Side of Manhattan and Riverdale.

CAMP FACILITIES: Pier40Baseball boasts a multi-diamond turf field and a spacious indoor facility that includes batting cages, training rooms, and game room.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: We offer spring baseball day camps, June baseball day camps, and summer baseball day camps, as well as afterschool baseball programs. We have an energetic, experienced staff that provide an upbeat atmosphere and make sure every child stays involved. Since 2002, boys and girls 5-15 have been learning the game by having fun at our beautiful indoor and outdoor baseball facility in Greenwich Village.

CAMP FACILITIES: Indoor gym, theater and classrooms, along with many athletic fields outside.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Campers will have a traditional day camp experience that includes Creative and Athletic activities. The schedule is filled with Athletic activities like Soccer, Football, Hockey, Basketball, Frisbee, Tennis, and many more. In addition to the Athletic activities, campers will enjoy Creative activities that include Arts and Crafts, Cooking, Science, Nature crafts and special themed activities. Everyday campers will have the chance to cool off on our 20ft water slide!

CAMP FACILITIES: Schodack is nestled in a picturesque wooded valley in the foothills of the Berkshires, our beautiful campus of flat, grassy playing fields is surrounded by acres of our own stunning, private forest. Our cabins are clean, airy and spacious buildings with private toilets and showers in each cabin. We have two heated swimming pools, a lake for boating, dining hall, Rec Hall, Playhouse, Ropes course, amphitheater, Culinary Arts studio, fitness center, ball fields and courts and a hilltop horse corral.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The Krouner family has been on this beautiful 100-acre site since 1909 when Sam and Lena Krouner operated a dairy farm, which later became Krouners Hotel. Their son, Lou, and his wife, Clara, converted the hotel into Camp Schodack in 1957; and their son, Paul, and his wife, Linda, became owner/directors in 1970. In 2012, after a lifetime of summers at Schodack, their son Matt became a full-time owner/director…four generations of continuous and dedicated family leadership!

Every camper becomes part of our Schodack family! Our staff actively creates a family-like atmosphere where everyone fits in, everyone is included, and each camper is surrounded by opportunities to excel – in building friendships, exploring new adventures, improving in favorite activities and taking on new challenges. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Providing a safe, warm, nurturing and FUN environment with developmentally appropriate activities and facilities, the Stepping Stones program is specifically designed to meet the individual needs of each young Hampton Country Day Camp camper.

Stepping Stones enjoy their very own magical and self-contained part of the campus where groups are kept small and staffing is extensive. Our youngest campers participate in a great blend of age-appropriate activities that are led by trained specialists and are designed to develop their physical, social and creative skills. 5 Year Olds
As our 5 year old campers transition from Stepping Stones to Main Camp, they will begin to utilize our traditional-sized facilities while participating in enhanced athletic instruction, American Red Cross swim instruction/recreational swim, nature, music, creative & performing arts and many other exciting activities! Our 5 year old program also features a 'Mini Club' period which allows each group to select from a list of their favorite activities to participate in each day.

6 & 7 Year Olds
Our 6 & 7 year olds take full advantage of our famous 'Club Elective' program on a daily basis, allowing our campers to customize their schedules with their favorite activities! Club options include our famous 'Showtime' musical theatre production, athletic clinics, innovative studio art projects, and many more! Campers also enjoy our full-sized facilities including three heated pools, an arts & crafts pavilion, tennis courts, soccer field, basketball courts, baseball field, ga-ga courts, music studios, performing arts stage and much more!

8 Year Olds
In addition to participating in our great range of traditional activities, our 8 year old campers get the chance to experience the excitement and spirit of teamwork associated with our 'Sports Leagues'. Sports Leagues begin on an every other day basis, alternating with a SECOND 'Club Elective' period. League Teams are divided equally with emphasis being good sportsmanship and building self-esteem. Campers may also participate in one of our 'Showtime' musical theatre productions, cook, swim, dance, explore nature, and take advantage everything that our camp program has to offer!

9 & 10 Year Olds
At Hampton Country Day Camp, we recognize that our Seniors are looking for a more innovative and customizable summer experience so we give it to them! Our 'Club + Sports Leagues' program allows Seniors to tailor their summer experience for up to two hours each day. Additionally, Seniors have "Flex" periods in their schedule throughout the week which allow their group to once again choose between a list of available activities to participate in. In addition, all Seniors enjoy the privilege of venturing off the HCDC grounds on exciting day trips to local attractions and fun, off-site programs.
